The annual festival of Al-Azhar Training College, ആർദ്രം ’21 began on 10th February 2021. Showcasing the talents of Training College students, the event was colourful and full of merriment.

The event was formally inaugurated by Mr Sumesh Krishnan. Sumesh, a modern poet hailing from the city of Anandhapadmanabhan, is a favorite among the students. Over the years, he has bagged several awards including the O N V Young Literary Award, Vyloppilly Award and Kadammanitta Memorial Prize. An excellent orator, he excited the audience with his unconventional lyrics. The inauguration and the rest of the events were an accolade to the institution.

Al-Azhar Training College (B.Ed) conducted a workshop on the topic, “Preparation of Innovative Teaching Aids”. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Noufal K M, Teacher, Government UP School, Paipra. He is a renounced Ex-BRC Trainer as well as a Victors Channel Educator. The event was well-received by the students who gained many insightful tips from the workshop.
