Consumer Protection Act. A Discussion by Hon'ble Justice K Surendra Mohan

Every year World Consumer Rights day is celebrated on 15 March and is an annual international event that signifies celebration and solidarity in the international consumer movement, demanding that, consumer rights are to be respected and protected. This annual occasion is dedicated to highlighting the power of the consumers, their rights so as to ensure a safe and sustainable marketplace for all. Every year, World Consumer Rights Day adopts a theme to highlight and this year the theme adopted is “Tackle Plastic Pollution.”

To introduce the topic to the students, Al-Azhar Law College invited the Honorable Justice K Surendra Mohan, President of the Kerala State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commision.

The discussion was entertaining and informative for all those who attended especially the law students who discussed with the Hon’ble Justice about the various consumer protection acts and more.
